Public program thro' Queen's Birthday Long-weekend
From 10.00 am daily.

In a series of six evening and three afternoon sessions, the Great Chantmaster of Gyuto Tantric University, Lobsang Tsering, will deliver his final 2002 Australian talks on Buddhist Philosophy and Meditation Practice.

He has chosen to expound on the concept of 'Understanding Happiness' for those who seek guidance in managing their daily lives and also as a follow up to the wisdom imparted by His Holiness the Dalai Lama during his recent visit to Victoria.
Buddhism states clearly that there is no unilateral means of understanding reality without depending on certain accepted conventions for living. In this series of talks, therefore, the Great Chantmaster Lobsang Tsering will explain the meaning of happiness in the context of the four principles of nature, interdependence, function and causality.

The Gyuto Monks will also lead a Puja featuring the 21 Tara Praise and Long Life Prayer for His Holiness the Dalai Lama - everyone is welcome to participate and will be provided with the appropriate texts.

Special Schools Program
Following the successful program last September, the Gyuto Monks also return to offer a special Schools Program.
All are welcome to school sessions between 9.30am - 3.00pm during the week.
