H.H. Dalai Lama

To celebrate their affection for Second Valley, The world renowned Gyuto Monks return to the Fleurieu Peninsula with Gyuto Elder and Ritual Master Jampa Tashi.

The group of 8 monks will provide an unforgettable weekend of unique Harmonic Chanting, meditation, public talks, children's workshops and a beautiful Sand Mandala.

Meditation Workshop 'Facing Our Fears'
Saturday 31 July 10.00 am - 4. 00 pm

A vital daily ceremony for all, this simple yet powerful practice acts as a blessing and as protection against fear and hurt. Gyuto Ritual Master Jampa Tashi personifies the tantric path of transforming the negative into the positive. It isn't useful to deny the power of our emotions, he tells how to harness this energy instead for our own benefit and the benefit of those around us.
Jampa Tashi will give a lucid and pertinent explanation of where our fear and hurt comes from and show how to dissolve negativity and nurture joy. The day promises a unique insight into the heart of compassion as shown by the Gyuto Monks themselves.
