![]() It is with great pleasure that I inform you that "The Gyuto Monks of Tibet ~ Gyuto House, Australia" has been recognised with the Wellesley Mo Award for highlighting human rights issues on the Internet. While content is the most important element for us when assessing a site, all our members were also moved to comment on the exquisite beauty of the site you have created. I quote one of them here: "It is rare that human rights is associated with beauty, but in this case it is. I felt during my time with the Gyuto Monks online, a sense of their essence, and a great sadness that such a rich culture has been so cruelly supressed in their own country. My congratulations to the web designer - she should be very proud of her work." I also felt that the content, design and general atmosphere were exceptional and am very happy to know of the site's existence. May I wish you, and the Gyuto Monks, all the very best in your future endevours. Kind regards, |
