gyuto house : aims
some of the gyuto monks with local schoolchildren An idea, rather than an institution, the purpose of Gyuto House is to provide a range of different opportunities for people to experience the wisdom of the Gyuto Monks, to be touched by their humanity and to apply the philosophical teachings in their own lives and actions.

When asked to explain the meaning of 'tantra' during an Adelaide radio interview in 1995, the former Abbot of Gyuto Tantric University said simply, "It's about moving the heart".

Gyuto House is about moving the heart - about encouraging the practice of kindness and compassion in our daily lives.
