"Om Mani Padme Hum" is the latest CD release from the Gyuto Tantric University in Australia and Gyuto House Australia, and the second collaboration with ABC Records. The CD includes guided meditations in English translated and read by Sonam Rigzin, against the backdrop of the unique chanting of the monks.

This CD focusses on the mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum", which literally translates as "Hail to the Jewel in the Lotus", interpreted as "Homage to the Compassionate One". While the Dalai Lama is known as "The Jewel in the Lotus", this mantra also has a wider meaning - it is paying homage to our own compassionate nature, and the strength that it lends us in our day to day lives. Featuring the Gyuto Monks and Tibetans at prayer, with the beautiful "Long Life Song for His Holiness the Dalai Lama" composed and performed by Ama La Olo Bhuti.
