Dear Friends,

We are delighted to inform all Buddhists throughout Australia of the imminent visit to Australia of Gyuto Khensur Shar Tse Choe-Je Lobsang Tenzin Rinpoche. Arriving on August 21 in Darwin, Rinpoche will be in Australia for 2 months and will be touring with the Gyuto Monks.

A former Abbot of Gyuto Monastery who first visited Australia in 1994, Rinpoche has many friends and students throughout Australia who will be pleased to see him again. We are especially pleased and honoured that he is able to come as he has recently been appointed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama to the position of deputy head of the Gelug-pa lineage of Tibetan Buddhism.

An open invitation is extended to all to attend our public programs and receive Rinpoche's teachings. Where possible, we shall endeavour to facilitate Rinpoche meeting with other senior lamas, should they wish to see him. The Gyuto travel itinerary within Australia is detailed elsewhere on our web site. All enquiries may be directed to Maureen Fallon at Gyuto House.

Sincerely,

Maureen Fallon
